Transport

The Transport & Traffic Section is part of the Asset Management Department. The branch exists to provide governance in the area of transport management for the City of Wagga Wagga.

The depot handles freight for the Wagga City and the Riverina areas. The Riverina delivery area includes the townships of Leeton, Narrandera, Deniliquin, Finley, Lockhart, The Rock, Batlow, Tumut, Gundagai, Temora, West Wyalong and smaller villages surrounding these. The Wagga Wagga City and all the townships mentioned above have freight delivered the same day (overnight ex Sydney). There are five vehicles servicing the Wagga Wagga City area and these range from bulk pallet vehicles to a one ton van.
